THR is a python rewrite of an
old-school php board I
wrote back in 2021. Although the project was fun, it lacked simple
features such as comment replies and user profile pictures, which lead
me to extend the original php implementation of the website.
However, the code ended up being total spaghetti. That motivated me to
rewrite the project in python using
flask, a tool
I'm much better at than php. I was then able to implement
a REST API
which can be used to make alternative frontends for it. The default
frontend uses no javascript.
THR is still in development and experiences breaking changes without notice. Ddevelopment is hosted on Codeberg and GitHub. You can contribue by submitting a pull request on Codeberg.
